Hotel Terme Providence

We stayed two weeks in the hotel Providence and had a wonderful time there. We were warmly welcomed by the owner of the hotel at our arrival. All the staff members are professional but kind and not business-like, especially the owners. The hotel is not small at all, but we felt that they cared each of their guests, which made our stay very special. We particularly appreciated the cleanliness of the room and common areas, a beautiful garden with vineyards and aromatic plants, a relatively large swimming pool and hot spring outside, a magnificent view over the sea and the mountains, piano and violin music in the evening (not everyday), and a navette service between hotel and the city centre of Folio. We were also very lucky as they had a special evening for an ascension on a terrace with beautiful decoration and excellent dishes. We have a small child, so it was really great that there was a lady who kept children in the afternoon and did different activities with them. In terms of food, in the evening, we found the portion was huge (though tasty, especially all different sort of pasta), so after several days, I only had appetizer and the first course and skipped the main dish. Even with that, it was a lot. For breakfast, there were much more choices for sweets than salty. That is perhaps a minor negative point that can be improved. Overall, it was one of the best vacations for us thanks to the hospitality of the Hotel Providence!!

+++ Nice hotel, friendly staff. Excellent dinners. ++ Air conditioner was working well, so we could have comfortable temperature in our room. ++ Pools with thermal water - we enjoyed them. - Shower cabin had only half of the glass area, so the water could leak on the floor. -? Our room was a bit small (not in the main building, but in a separate building). -? Breakfast: not so many options, typical continental breakfast.
